Operator’s Manual (PC)
I.          HOW TO USE THE SCALE
Place the scale on a very flat surface and plug USB into your USB port.
Press     button to switch on the scale and wait until “0” is showed on the display screen. Please make sure the scale is under the environment with stable temperature.
Copy “postage” and “activation” on the CD to your PC desktop, Double click the “activation” icon to open the Scale Activation Software:

Click the “ActiveScale” button, and it will show:

The scale has been activated, and then minimize the window.
Open any shipping software or website.
Put the object(s) on the center of the platform. Move the cursor into the weight field of your shipping software and press SEND on the scale, the readout will be inputted in your software.
Press M1 button to choose different weighing units for different software(some requires weight in LB and KG, while some requires weight in OZ only).
The readout also shows on scale screen for stand alone use.
II.         HOW TO USE THE SOFTWARE
Activate the scale firstly according “I.”, and then double click “postage” icon on your PC desktop to open the postage calculation software:

1. Click the “UPS” button:

First click “Access information”, then click “input”:

Input the information, you can get help from www.ups.com. Then click the “OK” button.
Or you can click the “Use default” button if you haven’t the information yet.
And then input the information include: “Ship from”, ”Ship to”, ”Package Type”, ”Service Name”; then put the cursor on the field of “Weight(kg)”, Press the “SEND” on the scale, the weight will be inputted. (Note: The country code must be abbreviated.)

Finally, click “inquire” button and wait for several seconds, it will show all the charges:

1. Click the “WebSite” button:

There are three button on it; You can click each of them to open the according website. Move the cursor into the weight field of the page, and press SEND on the scale, the readout will be inputted in your software.
Press M1 button to choose different weighing units for different software(some requires weight in LB and KG, while some requires weight in OZ only).
NOTE:

At the USPS website, you can only use one of the units, that is to say, if you use LB, the OZ must to be zero; if you use OZ, the LB must to be zero.
